Question:
What is your opinion on those who sought knowledge with us in dammaj for more than 5 years, then he returns to his country like a ‘Aamy’ (layman/common man) one who is not benefitted from, not a khutbah or a lecture nor d’awah, so is he a student of knowledge?
Answer:
No, he isn’t a student of knowledge, perhaps he was there (in dammaj) as a joker or busy with some dunya related work so he didn’t benefit.
A student of knowledge if he leaves between the people and sees evil, he will not be settled except that he clarifies this evil and advice’s and teaches, otherwise what were the fruits of his seeking of knowledge if he was just going to return back to his country like a ‘Aamy’ wallahi!!!
Some of them (that came to dammaj) were on holiday from the holidays, they stayed for a number of months and worked hard in lessons and muhaadaraat, and when he returned back to his place of residence or other than it, he established a d’awah with those with him upon khair.
