▪️Praying between pillars is severely disliked▪️

Our Shaykh, Muhammad ibn Hizaam -may Allaah preserve him- was asked the following question:

📩 Question:

The questioner says: What is the ruling on praying between two pillars for those praying behind the Imaam – especially of the row becomes disconnected?

📝 Answer:

It is extremely disliked, and in the Hadeeth of Anas, he said: ‘We used to avoid this during the time of the Prophet ﷺ.’ This causes the rows to become bent or disconnected, so one must avoid this, unless he really has to; perhaps the Masjid is very cramped, or there’s no space due to overcrowding on Fridays, and so on. Otherwise, the base rule is that it is Makrooh (disliked).

T.N: This Fatwa doesn’t apply if a person is praying alone
