Whoever points to his brother with other than a piece of iron from the things that can kill, does this enter into the curse?
It has come in the hadith a piece of iron;
“Whoever points to his brother with a piece of iron then verily the angels curse him until he ceases, even if it is his brother from his father and mother.” [Reported by Muslim]
“Let not one of you point to his brother with a weapon for little does he know that the Shaytān may tempt him to strike and cause him to fall into a pit of fire.” [Reported by Bukhāri]
If it is from what kills because some things even if it is not a piece of iron can kill, it takes the ruling of a piece of iron because verily pointing to a Muslim with a piece of iron was not prohibited except out of fear that Shaytān would entice him and cause him to plunge into a pit of fire as comes in the hadith, so if he could fall into a pit of fire due to this then he could fall into a pit of fire because of something else that kills like it, even if it is not iron, so if he were to point with it, it takes the same ruling.
