Dr Rabee’ Al-Madkhali and his speech on the Muslim rulers [besides Sa’udiyyah]

Question:

What is your commentary upon the speech of Rabee’ Al-Madkhali which was spread regarding the Muslim Rulers?

Answer:

All praises are due to Allah, and As-Salāt and As-Salām upon the Messenger of Allah, and his household, and companions, and whoever follows his guidance.

As for what is after:

Verily this man has forsaken the advisors with his rejecting of the truth and his animosity of its people.

So it became the case that he embarks upon lack of knowledge nor insight. Allah, the Most High, said:

“And We shall turn their hearts and their eyes away (from guidance). as they refused to believe therein for the first time. and We shall leave them in their trespass to wander blindly.”

This speech of his contains a clearcut Takfīr (expulsion from Islām) of the rulers of the Muslim lands, whereby he declared the rulers either Rāfidhi or Bātini or ‘Ilmāni.

This generalised Takfīr is upon the way of the Qutubis and their ilk, and a lie which reality rejects.

❓Where are the refutations of Al-Madkhali upon Sayyed Qutb and his Takfīr of the Muslim rulers?!

Because here we have him today, treading upon a path similar to his; arousing the people upon revolutions in a similar manner as the arousing of Sayyed Qutb.

and Allah, the Most High, said:

“So when they turned away (from the Path of Allah), Allah turned their hearts away (from the Right Path). And Allah guides not the people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah)”

“And know that Allah intervenes between a man and his heart and that to Him you will be gathered.”

And it authentically narrated from Hudayfah, may Allah be pleased with him, that he said:

“Know that misguidance, true misguidance is that you recognise and acknowledge what you used to reject and you reject what you used to recognise and acknowledge.Be aware of changing of colours [switching and changing] because the religion of Allah is only one.”

[Reported by Al-Haarith in his Musnad, Ibn Batta in his Ibānah, Bayhaqi in his Sunan & other than them]

The summary of the speech of Al-Madkhali:

  • Declaration of the Muslim rulers to be disbelievers.
  • Agreement with the Qutubis and the groups of extreme takfeer.
  • Authenticating their ideologies.
  • Inciting them and other than them towards rebellion and the spilling of blood.

And this is what he has implemented in his blood tainted fatāwa in Libya; where he has kindled the fire of the Fitnah between them, and has embroiled those  that are fanatical towards him and those that are deceived by him in their Fitnah as firewood as to flare it up.

And Al-Madkhali has not ceased to be in a state of inferiority and deterioration, at every increment of his evil, the end of his transgression against the Sunnah and its people approaches, if Allah, the Most High, doesn’t make him correct himself by coming with repentance and correction and clarification.

Imām Ibn Rajab, may Allaah have mercy upon him, said :

“Verily an evil ending will be due to a hidden inner affair concerning the slave, which the people have not come across.
Either from the angle of evil actions or its like.

  • so this particular hidden affairs brings about an evil end at the time of death.

Similarly if a person acts with the actions of the people of the hellfire but inside of him is a hidden particular feature from the features or characteristics of good

  • That feature would take over at the end of his life, and bring about for him a good ending.”

[Jāmi’l ‘Ulūm wal Hikam]

So beware, beware Oh Ahlussunnah from this man and his fitnah; for his animosity towards the Sunnah and its people has become clear and manifest, and his combination between Irjā and Takfīr is from the strongest of indicators towards his following of his desires, and his contradictions between him yesterday and him today are too clear for there to be a need to provide evidences.

Allah, may He be Exalted, said:

“Had it been from other than Allah, they would surely have found therein much contradictions.”

And He, the Most High, said:

“Have you (O Muhammad ﷺ-) seen him who has taken as his ilah (god) his own desire? Would you then be a Wakil (a disposer of his affairs or a watcher) over him?”

and He, the Magnificent and Lofty, said:

“Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember?”

And every time advise is offered to him and clarification of his opposition to the Truth and the Sunnah, he increases in his oppression and arrogance, and the number of those that are fanatical towards him, further deceives him.

He is not a sincere advisor to them nor are they to him.

And Allah, may He be Exalted, said:

“But if they answer you not (i.e. do not believe in your doctrine of Islamic Monotheism, nor follow you), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allah? Verily! Allah guides not the people who are Zalimun (wrong-doers, disobedient to Allah, and polytheists).”

All praise is to Allah for the blessing of the Sunnah, and all Praise is to Allah for granting us insight in the fitnah of this man and his cohorts.

O Changer of hearts, grant our hearts firmness upon Your Religion.
