Question:
A person died and left behind five daughters and a wife, a half brother and sister from the same father, as well as a sister from the same parents.
Does the brother and sisters inherit anything (from him)?
Answer:
The daughters inherit two thirds, the wife inherits an eighth, and the remaining goes to the sister he shared both parents with.
The brother and sister he shared the same father with fall (out the inheritance).
This is the view of the majority of the scholars, and it is what’s correct In sha Allah.
