Our shaykh, here there’s a husband who gave his wife dowry, and this dowry was taken and took advantage of by the family. The brothers requested it so she gave it to them.
Does the husband have right to request his wife to take it back from them?
Answer:
He doesn’t have right to do that, because the dowry is the right of the wife; she conducts in its regard however she wishes.
