Verily a man could be deprived of provisions due to a sin he committed, and Duā and Qadr clash in the sky

Benefit:

He said may Allāh have mercy on him and on the authority of Salmān Al-Fārisī may Allāh be pleased with him he said: “The Messenger of Allāh said ﷺ:

“Nothing repells the decree except duā, and nothing increases a persons life span except piety.” [Reported by Tirmidhi Hasan Gharīb]

And he didn’t grade it Sahīh because in it’s chain is Mawdūd Al-Basrī his name is Fidhah, and Abu Hātim said (he’s) weak and Ibn Hibbān reported it and graded it Sahīh and Al-Hākim also, and At-Tabrāni in Al-Kabīr and Adh-Dhiyā Al-Mukhtārah.

Adh-Dhiyā Al-Mukhtārah by Al-Maqdasi has in it Sahīh and Dha’īf, not that it was chosen and it is prime, the conclusion from this hadith is that even though it is weak except that it has other chains that strengthen it, and return to As-Sahīhah 154, and in the chapter there are shawāhid mentioned in the asl, from them;

“There is nothing more noble to Allāh than duā.”

It is an established hadith with supporting evidences, and there are from means of increasing ones life span, having good manners, and being a good neighbor, they uphold the household and increase the life span, and connecting the ties of kinship are from the means of increasing ones life span, and it is by the qadr of Allāh ‘Az wa Jall,

“And duā and qadr clash in the sky.”

And duā is by the qadr of Allāh, and the decree is the qadr of Allāh, so it is lifting the qadr of Allāh by the qadr of Allāh, and removing the harm by the qadr of Allāh, so this is a great benefit for duā, that it occurs that it is decreed upon a slave a decree that is harmful to him, so if he makes duā to Allāh, the evil is lifted from him, and like it is the hadith of Thawbān which was reported by Abi Shaybah, and Tabarāni, and Al-Hākim in Al-Mustadrak, and Ibn Hibbān in his Sahīh with the wording;

“Nothing repels the decree except duā, and nothing increases the life span except piety, and verily a man may be prevented from provisions due to a sin he committed.”

A man and a woman, verily he mentioned a man due to predominance, elsewise a slave could be prevented provision whether the provision is knowledge or provision of wealth, or provision of a righteous wife, or provision of status, or provision of position, or provision of guidance, or provision of being granted success, or what is of that nature from the numerous provisions, he could be prevented due to his sins, a sin he committed so it comes between him and that good which he would of attained, Allāh said:

“And whatever of misfortune befalls you, it is because of what your hands have earned. And He pardons much.” [Ash-Shūrā, 30]

And this hadiths asl is this verse

And the statement of Allāh:

“And if the people of the towns had believed and had the Taqwa (piety), certainly, We should have opened for them blessings from the heaven and the earth, but they belied (the Messengers). So We took them (with punishment) for what they used to earn (polytheism and crimes, etc.)” [Al-A’rāf, 96]

And this hadith is authentic with the first number.

And in these hadiths are proof that Allāh Subhāna wa Ta’āla repels by duā what has been ordained on a slave, and numerous hadiths have come with this, and what aids this is His speech ‘Az wa Jal:

“Allah blots out what He wills and confirms (what He wills). And with Him is the Mother of the Book (Al-Lawh Al-Mahfūdh).” [Ar-Ra’d, 39]

Ya’nī erasing and establishing in that which he intends to erase and establish, as for the Mother of the Book (Preserved Tablet) then there is no changing His speech, He said:

“The Sentence that comes from Me cannot be changed, and I am not unjust (to the least) to the slaves.” [Qāf, 29]

And in it is that what is considered to be piety in general increases life span, piety is not only intended towards the mother and father, rather piety of obedience, obedience to Allāh, and it has been established in the Sahīh that connecting the ties of kinship increases in life span, indicating to the hadith of Anas;

“And whoever desires for his provisions to be increased and his life span prolonged then let him connect the ties of kinship.” [Agreed Upon]

And the intent is literal increase, and it is said blessing in life span, and the first one is what is apparent, that it is literal not just blessing, and from it is His statement;

“And no aged man is granted a length of life, nor is a part cut off from his life (or another man’s life), but is in a Book (The Preserved Tablet) Surely, that is easy for Allah.” [Al-Fātir, 11]

His statement:

“And then has decreed a stated term (for you to die). And there is with Him another determined term.” [Al-An’ām, 2]

The conclusion is that duā is from the qadr of Allāh ‘Az wa Jall, for it could be that something is ordained upon His slave with the restriction that he doesn’t make duā to Him, so if he makes duā it is repelled from him, this is good speech, and this hadith is going to come perhaps you are in amazement at it being declared Hasan and on the authority of Abi Hurairah may Allāh be pleased with him he said: “The Messenger of Allāh said ﷺ:

“Whoever does not ask Allāh He becomes angry at him.” [Reported by Tirmidhi and Al-Hākim]

Via Abi Sālih Al-Khawzī and he is weak, and it will come the extracting of this hadith and the clarification of its asl, and that it has some asl that establish it.
