Women are rewarded for praying at home, the same way men are rewarded for praying in congregation and it is better for them to do so

Question:

We know the prayer of a woman in her home is better (than in the masjid), so if she prays taraweeh at home during Ramadan does she obtain the reward of:

مَنْ قَامَ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَةٍ

Whoever stands with the Imam until he leaves; (the reward of) standing the entire night (in prayer) will be written for them [1]

Answer:

The reward is hoped for her as the Prophet ﷺ said:

بُيُوتُهُنَّ خَيْرٌ لَهُنَّ

their (i.e. women) homes are better for them. [2]

And she is ordered to pray the obligatory prayers at home, let alone the voluntary prayers.

Therefore this is better for her than leaving (her home) in order to pray taraweeh. But if she did, she would obtain the reward mentioned in the hadith by observing the prayer with the Imam until he departs.

All things considered; it is better for a woman to pray in her home. Great reward will be written for her and she will obtain the virtues mentioned for men as well as the other rewards and virtures of other congregational voluntary prayers like taraweeh, in sha Allah.

In fact, if she attended the obligatory prayer it would also be recorded twenty seven [3] or twenty five [4] times greater for her.
