Benefit:
“We are all going to face death one day. The most important thing is that one is establishing the religion of Allah upon his legislation. And if death comes to you and you are upon goodness, Alhamdulillah! That is the purpose of this life. As Allah says
{ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ}
Which translates as:
“Corruption has appeared throughout the land and sea by [reason of] what the hands of people have earned so He may let them taste part of [the consequence of] what they have done that perhaps they will return [to righteousness].” [Rum:41]
So the reason for this is that one will return to the religion of Allah. Because we are all going to taste death. We may live for a few more days, or weeks, or months or years but after that, we will all taste death. So we have to start preparing for what comes after death, because that is the true life where one will either be (eternally) in bliss or in punishment.”
