Benefit:
Our Shaykh may Allāh preserve him said: “An important affair O slaves of Allāh, freeing oneself from falsehood and the people of falsehood, in all it’s forms.
All according to its proportion. This is the creed of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, this creed which Allāh revealed and prescribed us to worship Him by it, negating fanaticism, negating Hizbiyyah, negating everything that opposes the true religion of Allāh, whatever it is.
Don’t be fanatical to your father, and don’t put his speech before the truth. For verily that is shirk from you. O my brother your father, brother and mother will free themselves from you on the Day of Judgement, they will be of no avail to you.
Allāh said;
(يَوْمَ يَفِرُّ ٱلْمَرْءُ مِنْ أَخِيهِ وَأُمِّهِۦ وَأَبِيهِ وَصَٰحِبَتِهِۦ وَبَنِيهِ لِكُلِّ ٱمْرِئٍ مِّنْهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ شَأْنٌ يُغْنِيهِ)
“That Day shall a man flee from his brother, and from his mother and his father, and from his wife and his children. Everyman, that Day, will have enough to make him careless of others.” [Abasa, 34-37]
Shirk in the Da’wah, a lot of weakness in Al-Walā’a wal Barā’a (Love and Disassociation) with the people except whom Allāh has mercy on. It is a must to disbelieve in falsehood and believe in Allāh. Look at what Allāh said;
(وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱلْبَٰطِلِ وَكَفَرُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ أُو۟لَٰئِكَ هُمُ ٱلْخَٰسِرُونَ)
“And those who believe in Bātil (all false deities other than Allāh), and disbelieve in Allāh and (in His Oneness), it is they who are the losers.” [Al-Ankabūt, 52]
Will you expose yourself to loss?!
