Question:
What is the ruling of wiping the face with the hands after dua?
Answer:
Nothing has been authenticated regarding this at all; therefore it is from bid’ah. (An unprescribed act of worship introduced after the death of the Prophet ﷺ)
Wiping the face with the hands after dua has not been authenticated at all.
(It is) a bid’ah amongst (other) bid’ah.
