Benefit:
Concerning the Tafsīr of His statement:
(إِذْ يَقُولُ ٱلْمُنَٰفِقُونَ وَٱلَّذِينَ فِى قُلُوبِهِم مَّرَضٌ غَرَّ هَٰؤُلَآءِ دِينُهُم)ْۗ
“When the hypocrites and those in whose hearts was a disease (of disbelief) said: “These people (Muslims) are deceived by their religion.” [Al-Anfāl, 49]
- The statement that they are the hypocrites of Quraish is a mistake due to the lack of need for it, Makkah had in it either pure Islam or pure Kufr.
- Those who have a disease in their hearts: Is ‘Atf Bayān’ of Munāfiqīn (speaking on the same topic) and isn’t Mughāyaran from them (a different topic).
- He said may Allah preserve him: “The statements of the Munāfiqīn are bad in every moment and time.”
