Question:
Whoever indicates to his friend with a car pretending that he’s going to run him over – some of them do this out of joking around – is it like pointing at him with a piece of metal and so the angels will curse him until he puts it down?
Answer:
The meaning of the two is the same, all of that is threatening to kill, the one who points with a piece of metal is threatening to kill, and the one who indicates with a car accelerating towards a person is threatening to kill, except that the iron perhaps there occurs fright, but perhaps there could occur more fright with the car, and he could make a mistake or there could occur an issue with the break and so he kills him, and all of this is from frivolous play, due to joking around, and all of it is exposure to the punishment mentioned, because it’s threatening to kill, in form of joking.
