Reciting the Faatiha:
▪️Reciting in any of the seven or ten Qira’aat (modes of recitation):
Imam Nawawi, may Allah have mercy upon him, said:
Our companions (the Shaafi’iyyah) and other than them permitted to recite in any of the seven Qira’aat… and if someone read with one of the seven it’s Mustahab (preferred) to complete the recitation with it, if some of the verses were read with some and others with another of the seven it’s permissible, with the condition that what’s recited as the second is connected to the first.
End of speech from Al-Majmuu’ (390/3).
Shaykh-Ul-Islam, may Allah have mercy upon him, said
It’s permissible to recite some of the Quran by the way of the mode of recitation of Abu Amr and some others with the mode of recitation of Naafi’, regardless if this was inside the first unit of prayer or the second unit of prayer, and inside the prayer and other outside the prayer, and Allah knows best.
