The reasons for bad consequences for the people is that they inclined towards politics and distanced from seeking light from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger

Benefit:

Indeed the bad consequences of the people and the troubles of the ummah is whenever they reject this Noor (light), there occurs to them troubles according to their distancing from the Noor of the Book and the Noor of the Sunnah, they inclined towards politics, they inclined towards things which has no firm connection to them in religion. Verily it is following the desires and pleasures and the Dunyaa, far from seeking light from the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah.

You’re not like those ones who have no guidance and remained in blindness, you’re upon the Sharee’ah of your Lord, praise Allah for that, Allah said:

“Then We have put you on a plain way of (Our) commandment. So follow you that (Islamic Monotheism and its laws), and follow not the desires of those who know not.

Verily, they can avail you nothing against Allah (if He wants to punish you). Verily, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong-doers, etc.) are Auliya’ (protectors, helpers, etc.) to one another, but Allah is the Wali (Helper, Protector, etc.)” [Al-Jaashiyah:18-19]

Blindness doesn’t produce except blindness, Allah said;

“The vegetation of a good land comes forth (easily) by the Permission of its Lord, and that which is bad, brings forth nothing but a little with difficulty. Thus do We explain variously the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) for a people who give thanks.” [Al-A’raf: 58]

The people of blindness are blind in the Dunyaa and the Aakhirah, whether they know or not, the one who traversing on other than the rightly guided path, upon other than the Book, upon other than the Sunnah, considered he is enjoying, considered he is established in the land, upon any condition, by Allah his end result is loss, Allah said;

“But whosoever turns away from My Reminder, verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection.” [Ta Ha: 124]

Without Noor,

“He will say: “O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before). (Allah) will say: Like this, Our Ayat came unto you, but you disregarded them.”

He didn’t seek light with it, he abandoned the good,

“And so this Day, you will be neglected.” [Ta Ha: 125]

And Allaah said;

“And thus do We requite him who transgresses beyond bounds and believes not in the Ayat of his Lord, and the torment of the Hereafter is far more severe and more lasting.” [Ta Ha: 127]
