Ghusl al-Mayyit for a Menstruating Woman

Question:
What is the ruling of Ghusl al-Mayyit (Ritual Purification of the dead) for a woman who died while she was menstruating? Is there anything specific to this?

Answer :
Shaykh ʿAbdullāh al-Iryānī ḥafidhahullāh said in his book “Mulakhkhas Aḥkām al-Janāʾiz”, Page 32:

“If a woman who was in the state of janābah (Major ritual impurity due to sexual discharge) or a woman who was in the state of menstruation dies, they are washed only once (given only one ghusl). Because they went out of the rulings of sharīʾah (with their death). And no act of worship is compulsory on them. And also one ghusl is enough for the one who has two reasons for ghusl, like a woman who is in the state of janābah and in menstruation.”
