Question:
A divorcee while she was in her ‘Idda and before completing the three Quruu’ (three menstruation cycles), did a pregnancy test which stated that she wasn’t pregnant. She then got married under the pretext that she wasn’t pregnant. What’s the validity of this marriage?
Answer:
It’s not valid, as she doesn’t cease being subject to her first husband for as long as the ‘Idda period hasn’t come to an end, which is three Quruu’.
