Answer:
Expiation is in the Dunyaa, that is purification, the one who enters the fire because of his sins is purified, it’s not said it’s expiation for him, but rather he’s purified for his sins and punished for his sins, that is punishment, so whether it’s in the grave he’s punished for his sins or in the fire then he leaves it for the Jannah, it’s said he was punished for his sins, purified for his sins.
