Ruling on Beating : Children, Wife, Slave and Student

Benefit:

➖ What’s related to beating children,

“اعْلَمْ، أَبَا مَسْعُودٍ، لَلَّهُ أَقْدَرُعَلَيْكَ مِنْكَ عليه “

“Know Abaa Mas’ood that Allaah is more capable against you than you are against him.”

➖ What’s related to beating the slave,

“أحسن إليه فإنِّي قد رأيتُهُ يصلِّى”

“Be good to him, for indeed I’ve seen him praying.”

➖ What’s related to beating the women,

“ليسَ أولئِكَ بخيارِكُم”

“Those are not the best of you.”

➖ The beating of the teacher to his students.

“وإنِّي قد نُهِيتُ عن ضَرْبِ أهلِ الصلاةِ”

“Indeed I have been prohibited from beating the people of Salaah.”

Attention: Shaykh Yahyaa mentioned in the same audio that beating these four types of people with a light beating and for a need like disciplinary training is not prohibited due to the many proofs of it happening in front of the Prophet without him rebuking it and sometimes ordering it, except that the Prophet himself did not beat any of these four types indicating that this is what is better.

Shaykh Yahyaa said: “And the most criminal of people according to what I know in this regard are the Raafidhah, the Houthis, may Allaah fight them, we ask Allaah to inflict them with all calamities.

For indeed they do not observe concerning a believer a pact of kinship nor a covenant of protection. If you oppose them they beat you, starve you, torture you in order for you to agree with them or to inform about that which is not found within yourself.”
